Questions
How much does eBay take in fees?
For most categories, eBay's final value fee is 13.25% of the total sale (item plus shipping charged) up to $7,500, plus a per-order fee of $0.40 ($0.30 if the order total is $10 or less). Some categories differ. Check eBay's fee page for yours.
Does eBay charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The final value fee is calculated on the total amount the buyer pays, including shipping and sales tax collected.
What's a good profit margin for reselling?
Alertify's own bar is at least $20 net profit and 35% ROI after all fees, shipping and tax. Below that, most flips aren't worth the time and risk.
